In partnership with the Council on Advanced Studies, UChicago Urban sponsors the Urban Workshop, which facilitates the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas on urban questions between students and faculty from the Divinity School, Division of the Humanities, and the Division of the Social Sciences.

Workshops take place on Tuesdays from noon–1:20 p.m. in Social Sciences 105. Workshop leaders for 2015–2016 are Theresa Anasti (Social Service Administration) and Melissa Osborne (Sociology), with faculty support from Rob Chaskin (Social Service Administration), Terry Clark (Sociology), and Micere Keels (Comparative Human Development).
